Jagiroad, March 13: BJP, AJP and Congress candidates on Friday filed their nomination papers at the office of the Morigaon Deputy Commissioner Office for 79-Jagiroad LAC second phase polls to be held on April 1.
Health and Family Welfare minister Piyush Hazarika along with prominent leaders, supporters took out a huge procession before filing for nomination to contest for second time from the constituency. Former Fishery Minister Bubul Das submitted his nomination papers as a AJP candidate.
On the other hand, Congress candidate Swapan Mandal also filed his papers at the DC office.
