GUWAHATI, April 5 - The Physics Academy of North East (PANE) is going to celebrate its foundation day in collaboration with the Department of Applied Sciences, Gauhati University, at the Institute of Science and Technology (GUIST)-Gauhati University, tomorrow from 1.45 pm onwards.
Prof Dhiraj Bora, Vice Chancellor, Assam Science and Technology University, Guwahati, will deliver the foundation day lecture on the topic �Burning plasma experiment as next step in fusion.�
Prof Spenta Wadia, Emeritus Professor and founding Director, International Centre for Theoretical Sciences (ICTS-TIFR), Bangalore, delivered the foundation day lecture in 2017 in IIT Guwahati.
The Physics Academy of North East is a common platform of different institutions of the North East to promote study of physics and research and it took birth on April 6, 1998 in IIT Guwahati.
