GUWAHATI, July 21 - The Assam Photojournalists Association today condoled the death of internationally acclaimed photographer Jayanta Dutta who died on July 19. Members of the association visited Dutta's house to pay their homage, a press release stated.
Born in 1947, Dutta passed away at a city hospital after certain health complications. He was a member of the India International Photographic Council, the Photographic Society of India, and the Photographic Society of America. He was also the founder of the Northeastern Photographic Academy.
