DIBRUGARH, June 23 - Union petroleum and natural gas secretary Tarun Kapoor today visited Baghjan. Nothing more is known of his trip. All that is known is that he visited OIL offices and some facilities in and around Duliajan and later went to Baghjan. He is staying in Duliajan overnight.

OIL is tight lipped about the bureaucrats visit.

Kapoor will fly back to Delhi on Wednesday.

Today, the Milanjyoti Yuva Sangha, which is assisting OIL in the disaster relief works, expressed surprise at the role of the Assam Pollution Control Board, in trying to rope in OIL, but backing out under equally dramatic conditions.

A leader of the Tinsukia district AASU unit told this correspondent that they too know nothing about the Petroleum secretary's visit to Baghjan.
