DIPHU, Sept 11 - The Hill State Demand Committee (HSDC) in association with the Students & Youth Council, Women Council, Karbi Nimso Chingthur Asong (KNCA), Karbi Students� Association (KSA) observed the People�s Resistance Day on a separate State issue at Diphu and in different parts in the district recently.
On the occasion, a meeting was also held at Diphu Club where Chomang Kro, president, HSDC, Jotson Bey, ex-CEM, KAAC, Hemsing Tisso, ex-MLA, Kangjang Terang, MAC, KAAC, Robinson Kro, Darsing Ronghang were present as guests. The dignitaries accused the Congress and the BJP Governments of diluting the separate State issue.
