GORESWAR, July 11 - State Irrigation Minister, Bhabesh Kalita inaugurated the Goreswar police station in Baksa district today and appealed to the people help police. An inaugural function was also held in this connection at the premises of Goreswar police station, which was anchored by Jogen Chandra Nath, Divisional Technical Officer of Fire & Emergency Service Management. The aim and objective was explained by Bhaskarjyoti Mahanta, Director of Fire & Emergency Service Management. In his speech, he appealed to the people to extend co-operation to the department for better service from Goreswar Fire & Emergency Service Camp.
Binay Kalita, Superintendent of Police of Baksa addressed the public and said that the Fire and Emergency Service camp can be run from Goreswar police station till its own building without any difficulties.
