People must vote BJP for good governance: Dass

UDALGURI, Dec 1 - Ranjeet Kumar Dass, president of Assam State Committee of BJP participated in a mega bike rally in Bhergaon BTC constituency of Udalguri district on Tuesday to garner support ahead of BTC polls-2020 which is slated to be held in December 7 and 10 next.

Dass while campaigning for Bhergaon BTC constituency BJP candidate Phatik Kachari said that the Bodo belt had witnessed ethnic violence, insurgency in the past but after the BJP was voted to power at the Centre and in the State, the region has witnessed stability and peace was restored. Dass said that the people of Bodo belt are craving for change and thus for the sake of �good governance� they will vote for the BJP in the forthcoming BTC polls.

Dass also exuded confidence that BJP will grab considerable number of seats in the ensuing polls. The bike rally passed through Bhergaon-Dimakuchi Attarekhat region of Udalguri district, in which former Rajya Sabha MP Santiuse Kujur, former BTC, MCLA Ratiram Boro, BJP leader Dimbeswar Das, among others, participated. Dass also visited the Borengajuli Sankar Dev Satra located in Dimakuchi near Indo-Bhutan border area of Udalguri district and sought the blessings of the Satradhikar, Hare Krishna Deva Mahanta.
