GUWAHATI, March 11 - Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal today said that the elections results in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa have yet again proved that the people of the country are happy and feeling secured in Prime Minister Narendra Modi�s leadership for leading the country with honesty, truthfulness and diligence.
�This historic mandate reflects people�s trust in the vision of Narendra Modi, their belief in his mission towards a great and transformed India,� Sonowal said.
�Under Modi�s leadership people of our country could see a bright future and they felt a new dimension of democracy where good governance and rule of law will rule the roost,� the Chief Minister said in a statement released here.
Sonowal also conveyed his heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP national president Amit Shah and the party workers for ensuring an
overwhelming victory of the BJP. He also expressed his gratitude to the people of Manipur for posing faith in the party.
He said that under Modi�s charismatic leadership, the Northeast will script a new level of development as the Prime Minister included the region in his agenda of priorities through his pet programme �Act East Policy�.
