GUWAHATI, June 7 � Prabin Ram Gautam, the son of PC Ram, ex-executive director, FCI, today appeared before the Special Judicial Magistrate, Assam and submitted documents and evidences challenging the CBI�s plea to close the case.
The CBI was entrusted with the probe into the death of PC Ram, who was killed during an encounter between police and his abductors in 2007. The CBI had pleaded for closure of the case on the ground of �lack of evidence.�
