RANGIYA, Oct 13 - One Pranjal Kalita, 23, of Bangalikuchi village under Rangiya Police Station was apprehended by police on Thursday for killing his father.
As per reports, following a confrontation between Pranjal and his father, the former got angry and fatally hit his father with a wooden stick. The incident came to light only when neighbours detected a foul smell in the area.
The accused and his father were staying together in the house since quite sometime now, while Pranjal�s mother stays in Guwahati.
