GUWAHATI, May 28 - The Geetikavi Parvati Prasad Baruva Memorial Trust will hold the annual Sangeet Pratijogita (singing competition of the poet�s songs) at the Kanaklal Barua Hall of the Assam State Museum here on June 5 as part of the celebration of Jonaki Mel.
The contest will be held in two categories comprising Group A for under-14 contestants, and Group �B� for contestants aged 14 years and above. There will be three prizes of Rs 5,000, Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 in each category. Participants should be present at the venue from 10 am on that day, a press release stated.
