GUWAHATI, Nov 28 The commander-in-chief of the United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA), Paresh Baruah today hoped that his deputy Raju Baruah, who was released on bail yesterday, would continue to play a major role in the struggle of the outfit.

In a release emailed to the media today, Paresh Baruah said no one could deny the role of Raju Baruah in the struggle of the ULFA. He hoped that after his release on bail, Raju Baruah would keep working to strengthen the outfit.

The ULFA C-in-C said that over the years, the Government of India tried to create division in the ranks of the ULFA. But he asserted that the Government would never succeed in its efforts and the ULFA is the only organization in North East which could not be divided by the Government.
