GUWAHATI, May 15 - The death anniversary of journalist Parag Das will be observed under the aegis of Manab Adhikar Sangram Samiti at its Jyoti Nagar central office, on the Chandmari-Rajgarh Road, and at Guwahati Press Club on May 17.
The day�s proceedings will begin with a swahid tarpan at Jyoti Nagar at 8 am. The second part of the proceedings to be held at Chandmari-Rajgarh Road will feature a tribute-paying ceremony at 9.30 am.
The Press Club�s programme will begin with a memorial meeting at 11 am. Dr Hiren Gohain will inaugurate the seminar, which will be attended by Ajit Kumar Bhuyan, Chief Editor, Prag News, Arup Borbora, advocate and columnist, and Partha Pratim Hazarika, Assistant Editor, The Assam Tribune, a press release said.
