GUWAHATI, May 14 - Amid lockdown blues and stressful phase triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic, some of the major names of the Assamese film industry have come together to spread the message of hope and positivity through a video based on noted singer Papons composition Paar Hobo Aei Xomoy.

Though the composition was released on Earth Day (April 22), a self-shot video of the Assamese film stars has recently surfaced on social media, receiving encouraging response from fans within the State and all over country.

Actors like Jatin Bora, Ravi Sharma, Prastuti Parashar, Nishita Goswami, Aimee Baruah, Utpal Das, Kalpana Kalita, Joy Kashyap, Shyamontika Sharma, Tanvi Sharma, Ananya Pasoni, Gunjan Bhardwaj, and Rimpi Das are the part of this video.

I am overwhelmed by this grand gesture by the biggest actors of the Assamese film industry. Also, I am extremely happy that this song is receiving so much love and appreciation. I hope this inspires people to stay strong during these difficult times, said Papon.

The entire video is shot on mobile phones during this lockdown. Self-shot videos of lockdown have been a huge trend in social media presently, enabling friends and family to come together on a common display place, despite observing the norms of social distancing.

The song that basically conveys This time, too, shall pass was written, sung and shot by the singer himself during lockdown. The song reached the stars of the Assamese industry and they showered love by making a beautiful video.
