A team of five members of the Assurance Committee of the Assam Assembly, headed by MLA Dr Nomal Momin, visited the newly constructed Planetarium at Sariahtali village in Nalbari on Tuesday. During the visit, the members assured that the planetarium would be commissioned by April. The team’s visit was in response to a question raised by Nalbari MLA Ashok Sarma in the Assembly.
The other members of the team are Dr Mansing Rongpi, Nabanita Handique, Ananta Kumar Malo and Ashok Sarma. The team later inspected two inspection bungalows at Nalbari town and Ghagrapar. The State Government has sanctioned Rs 3.48 crore for the construction of Nalbari inspection bungalow. The team also visited the Pagladia Resort – an agro tourism site – which was developed on the banks of the Pagladia river. – Correspondent
