GUWAHATI, July 6 � Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi has constituted a committee headed by Chief Secretary VK Pipersenia to study the report of the latest Socio Economic and Caste Census on the State of Assam that touches on key parameters like homeless, landless, unemployment, irrigation, drinking water, sanitation, etc.
The Chief Minister, while asking the Chief Secretary to make an in-depth study of the census report, said that necessary steps should be taken to fill up the gaps and to improve upon the parameters through a new comprehensive scheme.
