GUWAHATI, Sept 13 - Santoor maestro Pandit Satish Vyas accompanied by tabla player Ojas Adhiya performed at a live concert on the Facebook page of The Assam Tribune on Sunday.
Padma Shri awardee Pandit Vyas has performed extensively all over the world, while Adhiya is also known for his solo performances as well as for accompanying many eminent musicians.
More than 2.6 thousand netizens listened to the soothing tunes of the santoor played by the maestro.
During the concert, Pandit Vyas recalled the contribution of Dr Bhupen Hazarika in the field of music. He also tuned Dr Hazarika�s Dil hoom hoom kare from the movie Rudaali. He thanked The Assam Tribune for organising the concert.
