GUWAHATI, Aug 23 - An oil painting, titled Flight of Sai Baba for Peace, by eminent artist and filmmaker Pulak Gogoi was ceremoniously unveiled at the Dwarkamai, Shirdi Saia Baba Mandir, at 14th Mile, near Byrnihat, GS Road, today.

Unveiling the painting, former president of the Asam Sahitya Sabha Kanak Sen Deka, editor of Dainik Agradoot, lauded the gesture of Gogoi and said that more such works for benevolent causes are welcome.

Noted film distributor of Assam TS Narayan and artist Gogoi were present on the occasion. The painting will be on sale in aid of the Sai temple. Art lovers and buyers can now purchase prints of the painting on the temple premises. The fund so collected will be used for the development of the Dwarakamai temple, said a press release.
