TINSUKIA, Nov 8 - The Tinsukia district administration has declared November 19 as a paid holiday as voting will be held for the bye-election of Lakhimpur parliamentary constituency in Tinsukia district.
The holiday will be effective for all the industries, tea gardens, shops and establishments, contractual farms, other commercial institutions like banking, insurance etc. situated in areas where the election will be held. The order will be effective in Doomdooma and Sadiya LACs as well as the areas of Chabua LAC of Lakhimpur parliamentary constituency that comes under the jurisdiction of Tinsukia district administration.
