GUWAHATI, Sept 16 - National General Secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party Ram Madhav has been urged by the Electronic Media Sports Journalist Association to consider the name of first Arjuna Award winning athlete of Assam Bhogeswar Barua for Padma Shri.
A delegation of the electronic media sports body met Ram Madhav here on Sunday in this regard. They also appealed the State Government to propose Barua�s name for the Padma award.
Guwahati MP Queen Ojah, BJP State president Ranjit Kumar Dass among others were present when Ram Madhav met Barua.
