MANGALDAI, Oct 22 - Outola Higher Secondary School emerged champions in the Darrang inter school senior football tournament organised for the first time by the Assam Higher Secondary Council (AHSEC).
In the keenly contested final match at the Mangaldai Vidyapith playground Outola beat Hazarikapara Gandhi Smriti HS School by an aggregate of 6-5 goals via tie breaker.
In regulation time the match was ended in a 2-2 draw. In the prize distribution function District Sports Officer Jitendra Baruah, Sports Secretary, MSA Bipul Kumar Sarma and others gave away the trophies.
