SIVASAGAR, Nov 29 � Sivasagar Deputy Commissioner SS Meenakshi Sundaram was accorded a warm farewell at the Sukafa Hall of the DC�s office here on Thursday evening by the officers and staff of the DC�s office.
ADCs B Baruah, Dhiren Hazarika and PR Gharphalia shared their work-related experience and association with the outgoing DC. In their speeches, they praised Sundaram�s sincerity, dedication, devotion and supporting nature.
Terming the outgoing DC as a humble and meticulous man, the office staff said DC Sundaram, after joining his post here, worked diligently for the development of the district. They wished him a healthy and prosperous life.
The outgoing DC said his experience as the Deputy Commissioner of Sivasagar was memorable. Thanking all the officers and staff for their cooperation, Sundaram said, �During my tenure in Sivasagar, I learnt a lot and this will help me in future.�
Meanwhile, Virendra Mittal took charge as the new DC.
