GUWAHATI, May 19 - The District Transport Officer (Registration) of Kamrup (Metro) today said all vehicle owners (both non-transport and transport) will have to convert their old painted number plates to High Security Registration Plates (HSRP) on or before May 31 as per the direction of the Supreme Court.
Penalty will be imposed after the due date if anybody is found violating the order, said an official release.
