GUWAHATI, June 17 - A webinar was held recently at LCB College here under the joint aegis of Central Library and the college�s Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) in association with the Assam College Library Association (ACLA), said a press release issued on Wednesday.

Speaking at the webinar, the host college�s Principal Dr Adison Ali highlighted the positive role and prospects of the online system for the benefit of students, teachers and common people.

Prof Sanjay Kr Sing from the Department of Library Science, Gauhati University; Dr Prasanta Kr Deka, secretary ACLA and librarian of KC Das Commerce College; Dr Nabajyoti Das, librarian of Handique Girls� College and Dr Birender Pal, librarian of Kaliabor College, were the resource persons at the webinar. In their speeches they highlighted the importance of online e-resource system.

Over 220 teachers, students and educationists from different parts of the State participated in the webinar, the press release said.
