Online public grievance redress system

GUWAHATI, Jan 2 - With a view to redress the grievances of the public expeditiously, an online public grievance redress system was launched by Vinod Seshan, Deputy Commissioner, Kamrup, on Friday. The system has been developed by the NIC, Kamrup, an official press release stated.

The service has been designed to facilitate digital monitoring of public grievances at the DC�s office. As part of the new system, as soon as a person registers his complaint, an SMS will be generated and sent to the complainant. The new system is expected to speed up the disposal of grievances of the public of Kamrup district. For this purpose, anybody can log on to or to register his or her complaints.

Kamal Baishya, ADC, Kamrup, Gita Sharma, ADC, Kamrup, Nibedan Das Patowary, Assistant Commissioner, Kamrup, D Buzarbaruah, District Information Officer, NIC, along with other officers and staff, were also present in the launching ceremony.
