NAGAON, May 31 - Only one candidate from Nagaon got a rank among the first 10 position holders. Palak Alampuria, stood 9th with 581 marks in total and an overall percentage of 96.83. She is a student of Christ Jyoti School here.
The daughter of Rajendra and Sakhi Alampuria, her father is a businessman. She is interested to take up the legal profession in the future and will study Commerce in Nagaon. She used to devote 10 to 12 hours daily in study but did not expect to get a rank in the final examination. According to her, self confidence and hard labour is the key to success. Her success was celebrated in the school as well as at her residence where her teachers, friends, relatives and well wishers took part.
