ITANAGAR, Dec 5 - One more person succumbed to COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday, which took the State�s virus death toll to 55.
State Surveillance Officer (IDSP) Dr Lobsang Jampa stated that an 80-year-old man from C-Sector, Itanagar, expired at the Dedicated Covid Hospital, Chimpu, near here.
Meanwhile, 18 people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday, taking the State�s caseload to 16,367. Eleven of the total cases have been found to be asymptomatic and seven symptomatic.
On the other hand, 36 patients were discharged following their recovery. The total number of recovered cases has mounted to 15,561. The State�s active cases now stand at 751. The recovery rate of Arunachal Pradesh increased to 95.07 per cent, while the positivity rate stands at 4.93 per cent.
