AIZAWL, Dec 6 - A 53-year-old man was shot dead mistakenly as wild animal last Saturday, police said. The incident occurred early Saturday at Phulmawi village.
Police said that Lalhmingliana was accidentally shot dead by his friend Lalnunsanga while hunting in the forest. The victim who died on the spot was shot mistakenly as a wild animal, police quoted Lalnunsanga as saying.
