ITANAGAR, Jan 12 - In a tragic incident, one person succumbed to burn injuries he sustained in a fire mishap at Fishery Colony, Dumporijo under Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh on Saturday.
The fire broke out at around 11.40 am in which four residential buildings and three shops were also gutted.
The deceased, identified as Banti Das died on the spot. The cause of the fire has not been ascertained yet.
Additional Deputy Commissioner of Dumporijo, B Tawsik along with a relief team visited the fire accident site, according to an official release here.
The cause of the fire is being investigated and loss of properties being assessed for extending relief to the victims.
