GUWAHATI, June 2 - A 35-year-old man died when an oxygen cylinder that he was unloading at a shop at Namghar Path, Rukminigaon here this afternoon, exploded.
The police said the incident took place when the deceased, Mridul Deka, was unloading the cylinder at the PK Bharali Live Care Equipment shop which he had joined today.
According eyewitnesses, the incident took place at 2.30 pm when the shop was being opened for the first time after the lockdown. Deka is a resident of Nalbari.
