SILCHAR, Jan 4 - Cachar Police arrested a person in connection with the incident of mysterious death of 22-year-old Richa Bhattacharjee of Udharbondh. According to police, the arrested has been identified as Jishu Chanda.
Meanwhile, Raju Bhattacharjee, father of the deceased girl has alleged that his daughter has been killed. He has urged the police to probe the case with priority and give justice to the bereaved family.
It may be mentioned that police recovered the body of Richa from Madhura river on January 2. Police informed that Richa was reportedly missing since December 30 last year.
Body found: A 35-year-old person was found hanging from a tree on Saturday.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Badrul Haque Barbhuiya, a resident of Lathigram under Udharbondh constituency.
