GUWAHATI, Feb 22 � In the first semifinal of the 2nd Airtel Assam State Premier League Football Championship, Oil India Limited Football Club will lock horns with Assam Rifles at the Judges� Field here under light. The match will kick off at 5.30 pm.
OIL was the champion team in cluster B played at Sivasagar, while the Riflemen came second in cluster A which was held at Tezpur.
At Tezpur, Assam State Electricity Board (ASEB) Sports Club emerged champions and will meet Assam Police Blues, runners-up of Sivasagar cluster on February 24 in the second semifinal.
9th APBn were relegated as they were placed at the bottom among 8 teams. Gauhati Town Club, Green Valley Sports Club and PHE, Silchar were the other teams in the meet. The final is on February 26.
