DULIAJAN, March 21 � The 7th OIL India Challenge Gold Cup Football Tournament being organised by Oil India Limited got under way here at Nehru Maiden here this afternoon. In the inaugural match, Trugpu FC, Manipur outplayed Duliajan Football Academy by a solitary goal.
N Milan scored the goal in the 53rd minute of the match. Tomorrow, in the second match of the tournament, Assam Police Blues will clash with Morning Star, Diphu.
Earlier, the tournament was inaugurated by NK Agarwal, Resident Chief Executive, OIL. Manoj Patra graced the inaugural match as the guest of honour while Subodh Choudhury, ex-national football player was felicitated on the occasion by the organisers.
