NAGAON, Oct 4 - Oil India Football Club, Duliajan entered the final of the Independence Day Cup with a thumping 5-1 victory against Moran Town Club in the first semifinal at the Nurul Amin Stadium here today.
Raktim Gogoi of Moran scored the first goal in the 14th minute but after that the Oil players took control of the situation and pumped in five goals. Manash Manjit Chetia recorded a hat-trick scoring in the 45th, 53rd and 62nd minute while Mintu Boro netted two in the 39th and one in the added time respectively.
In the second semifinal tomorrow, ASEB SC, Guwahati will play against Borhongkha Athletic Club, Kokrajhar.
