MANGALDAI, Oct 5 - Defending Champions Oil India Football Club, Duliajan stormed into the semifinal of the 36th Amba Medhi Prize Money Invitational Football Tournament trouncing GB Football Academy 6-0 here today. In the completely one sided fourth quarter final at the Mangaldai Stadium, the Oil India boys displayed professional football and outplayed their young opponent in all departments . Skipper Manash Manjit Chetia led from front by scoring a hattrick . However the winners have to wait till the 36th minute for their first goal when Manash opened the account both for his team and himself. After conceding the first goal the Gossaigaon boys seemed to be losing their rhythm and just four minutes later the winners found the net again through Gerensa Basumatary. Resuming the second half with 2-0 lead the Duliajan boys were in more dominating form and their skipper Manash added two more goals in the 14th and 30th minute while William Gangte and Mintu Boro fired home the other two in the 28th and 37th minute respectively and ensured a big win.

Today�s match: (1st semifinal) Assam Rifles, Shillong vs ASEB Football Club.
