MORIGAON, Sept 30 - Oil India Football Club, Duliajan lifted the Motiram Borah Trophy with a clear 2-0 victory against Sunrise Athletic Club of Guwahati in the final played at the Khirod Baruah Stadium here today.
Jayanta Basumatary found the back of the net in the 60th minute while midfielder F Wary further increased the lead in the 70th minute.
Mintu Boro of Oil India was adjudged as the best player of the match.
In the closing function, Shyam Das, chairman, Morigaon Zila Parishad handed over the trophy to the winning team while Ranjit Deka, vice chairman, Morigaon Municipal Board gave away the runners- up trophy.
