OIL-IIE promote livelihood in Arunachal villages

GUWAHATI, Sept 30 - Oil India Limited (OIL) in collaboration with Indian Institute of Entrepreneurship (IIE) has implemented the CSR programme OIL Jeevika in Diyun circle in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh.

The programme covered five villages � Innao, Innao Pathar, Innao Chengmai, Piyung and Kumchaika in 2017-18. Two programmes � livelihood promotion and cluster development in beekeeping and honey processing, and another in mustard, buckwheat and local pulses processing � have been initiated to impart skill training, create self-employment, and generate sustainable livelihood opportunities among the village beneficiaries, a press release said.
