GUWAHATI, Feb 28 - Two unbeaten centuries by Anurag Sarangi (104 off 121 balls) and Govinda Poddar (100 off 90 balls) made it totally an one sided for Odisha against Assam in the Vijay Hazare Trophy one-day match at the Feroz Shah Kotla, Delhi today with a nine-wicket victory.
Although Assam scored a challenging total of 207 in 48.2 overs, the Odisha number two and three batsmen outwitted Assam bowlers and enabled their team scoring 213 in 35.3 overs losing just one wicket.
Earlier, Odisha bowlers Basant Mohanty (5/26) and Deepak Behra (3/47) destroyed Assam innings as barring skipper KB Arun Karthik 56 (off 73 balls) and J Syed Mohammad 53 (off 78 balls), other batsmen failed to hit form.
