GUWAHATI, March 15 - A three-day special camp (Swapnalaya) was organised by the NSS unit of DHSK Commerce College at Jokai High School in Dibrugarh district recently. A group of 50 students participated in the camp and interacted with the locals on various aspects of the society, stated a press release.
The camp was organised at Jokai High School with an aim to study the Jokai village, especially its problems and potentialities. The camp was inaugurated by Dr KM Bhagawati, Principal of DHSK Commerce College, Dibrugarh.
The headmaster of Jokai High School presided over the meeting. The programme was coordinated by Keshabananda Haloi, Assistant Professor and Programme Officer, NSS unit, DHSK Commerce College. The meeting was concluded with a vote of thanks by Assistant Professor Haloi, followed by activities like tree plantation, cleaning the environment etc.
