ITANAGAR, Aug 21 - Security forces apprehended two NSCN cadres in two separate operations in Changlang district on Thursday, district SP Mihin Gambo said today.
Acting on inputs, the Changlang Police, 9 Assam Rifles and 149 Bn of the CRPF, in a joint operation, apprehended an NSCN-R cadre, identified as Nankan Hacheng Chengsing (22), from New Sallang village under the Changlang PS.
In another operation, an NSCN-K (YA) cadre, identified as Johnsam Tikhak (24), was apprehended from the general area of Namgoi by Changlang Police, 19 Assam Rifles and 171 Bn of the CRPF.
