NPF terms Nagaland govt rudderless

By Correspondent

DIMAPUR, Nov 17 - The Opposition Naga Peoples Front (NPF) has described the present dispensation in Nagaland as rudderless and paralysed as the State seems most likely to be in an emergency state of situation.

In a release, the party alleged that the Peoples Democratic Alliance (PDA) government neglected all developmental activities and miserably failed in handling the law and order situation in the State.

It said the tall promises of the PDA government of providing good roads to the people remained unfulfilled with the worsening road condition in the State, particularly the highway between Kohima and Dimapur. It recalled that the NPF legislature party had written to Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio appealing to improve the roads but it apparently fell on deaf ears.
