A press note received from the Arunachal NPF said State president Tosham Mossang and general secretary Happa Taidong were welcomed warmly by enthusiastic crowd at respective headquarters on July 30 and 31 when the duo attended the opening programme of the party. People from all walks of life right from villagers to delegates from Nagaland laid out their views and opined that the party will definitely bring peace and prosperity in the trouble torn districts, it said.

State unit president Mossang congratulated the people of Tirap and Longding and assured that the party will stand for wholesome development of the indigenous people while also countering the various allegations made by some organization, such as APPSU that NPF is a Naga political party and is totally anti-Arunachal. Ours is only a normal political party and to look after the interest of our brothers and sisters living in Arunachal soil which is our main political motto, he stated, adding that education, infrastructure, employment to youth, etc., will be its top priority.

The party will be in full function from 2013 onwards, starting with the Panchayat elections, it was informed.

Happa Taidong also assured that NPF is committed to bring peace as well as urgent developmental needs of the people. If the party comes to power in the near future, it will activate the pace of both human and infrastructure development, he said.
