Guwahati, March 8: A team of Border Security Force (BSF) personnel along with Meghalaya Police nabbed a person from South West Khasi Hills with Yaba tablets. The nabbed consignment was en route to be delivered in Bangladesh.
The team of BSF and Meghalaya Police arrested the person after receiving specific inputs of the smuggling of the contraband.
The seized contraband contained 982 Yaba tablets worth Rs 5 lakhs in the black market. The arrested person was later handed over to the police while two others managed to escaped the security forces.
