SHILLONG, Dec 1 - Newly-elected Nongstoin legislator from Hill State People�s Democratic Party, Diostarness Jyndiang would be sworn in as a member of the Meghalaya Assembly here on December 3. Jyndiang defeated his nearest Congress rival, Gabriel Wahlang by 2,764 votes in the by-polls. The polls were held after senior HSPDP leader and MLA, Hopingstone Lyngdoh passed away in September this year.
