GUWAHATI, Aug 28 - Nongpho Tudua FC stormed into the semifinals of the 2nd edition of Upen Chandra Das, Deauri Ram Rabha and Nauri Rabha Memorial Football tournament, organized by Bongaon Nabajyoti Sangha, at the Dakhin Beltola High School playground. Nongpho beat Maikhuli United FC 2-0 in the second quarterfinal today.
The match was evenly poised at half time as no one could broke the deadlock. But goals from Ramos Ingti (55th minute) and J Hanse (65th minute) ensured the victory for. Nongpho Tudua FC.
Tomorrow AG Recreation will face Patorkuchi Nabajagaran Sangha in the third quarterfinal.
