NALBARI, Aug 9 - The Oboro Suraksha Samiti of BTAD has strongly condemned Friday�s terror attack at a Kokrajhar weekly market and demanded immediate action from the administration to nab the culprits and punish them.
The organisation also threatened to go for an agitational programme in the event of the administration�s failure to nab the culprits.
Oboro Suraksha Samiti secretary John Das said the Kokrajhar carnage was a planned attempt of the miscreants. �When we declare any agitational programme, such incidents happen with the sole motive of stopping the movement of the non-Bodos,� he added.
Das further said that the Suraksha Samiti is going to stage a protest demonstration at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on August 12. The Kokrajhar incident was to frighten us before our New Delhi programme, he added.
The Oboro Suraksha Samiti also held its executive meeting here on Saturday.
