KOKRAJHAR, Jan 5: The doctors of Rup Nath Brahma Civil Hospital, Kokrajhar will not be allowed to engage in private practices, said BTC Executive Member Arup Kumar Dey, who is the in-charge of Health & Family Welfare department of BTC.
Meanwhile, BTC Executive Member Arup Kumar Dey today paid a sudden visit to RNB Civil Hospital, Kokrajhar.
During his visit he inspected the hospital and other infrastructure, interacted with the Superintendent of RNB Civil Hospital, met patients and their relatives.
Later talking to mediapersons soon after the visit, Dey said that as per service guidelines stern action will be taken against doctors, nurses and other staff members of the hospital if they neglect their duties.
He firmly said that doctors of this hospital will not be allowed to engage in private practices.
