GUWAHATI, March 27 Assam government will not compromise on the issue of the States territorial integrity and there is no question of ceding the States land to any neighbouring States. This was stated by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rakibul Hussain in the Legislative Assembly.

There will be no compromise regarding the boundary of Assam. Well intimate our stand to the Centre, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rakibul Hussain said in the Assembly.

Hussain was replying to a point raised by AGP MLA PK Mahanta during the Zero Hour during which the latter sought to know the governments stand in case success in the peace talks between the Centre and the NSCN factions forces Assam to cede its land to Nagaland for creation of a Greater Nagalim.
