AIZAWL, April 5 A National Institute of Technology (NIT) will soon open campus in Mizoram, said Chairman of NIT, Mizoram Board of Governors K Ravi Kumar while interacting with State Chief Minister Lal Thanhawla here on Sunday.

Ravi Kumar had visited the State to attend the first NITs Board of Governors meeting here. The venue for the first meeting of the NIT Mizoram Board of Governors is the culmination of the proposal put forward by the Mizoram Chief Minister to the Central Government earlier. The first batch of the NIT Mizoram has already started its academic session in Nagpur and the next session is scheduled to be held in Aizawl sometime in the month of July-August this year.
