NHTTF players shine in ranking tournament

GUWAHATI, May 25 � The players of the city-based Nagen Hazarika Table Tennis Foundation (NHTTF) shone in the Madhurjya Gogoi Memorial 9th All Assam Ranking Table Tennis Championship at Golaghat which was held from May 22 to 24.

Aditya Dey won the youth boys singles title and became runners-up in the junior boys category. He also won the third spot in men�s singles. Jitakhee Mazumdar won three silver medals becoming runners-up in women�s, youth and junior singles events. Chinku Rajkhowa and Akanshya Deka became runners-up in men�s and cadet singles respectively.

On the other hand, other NHTTF players Aleeko Sujalo Hazarika, Adrian Hazarika, and Kashyapi Dutta won bronze medals in youth boys, cadet boys and cadet girls singles respectively, stated a release.

The three-day championship was organised by the Golaghat District Table Tennis Association under the guidance of Assam Table Tennis association.
